Contest!!!

I have an exciting contest I would LOVE to pull off for you all! I hope you have enjoyed watching my photo blog grow as much as I have. Now I want to "pay it forward" if you will. Here it goes:

If I can get at least 5 paid sessions IN the month of April, those first 5 will be entered into a contest that will take place the first week of May. Here is how it will work. If we get five sessions booked in April. Those first five can choose their favorite photo from their disc. I will post the favorites you all have chosen on a post & let the public vote. The photos will be numbered 1-5. You must SHARE SHARE SHARE the blog so that you can get the most votes. How do people vote? They can email me, text me or comment on the post with the photo number they want to win. The voting will run for 1 week. At the end of that week the family that had the most votes wins a FREE session to be used in the next few months and an 8x10 frame.  You may either keep it for your family or "pay it forward" and give it to a family of your choice.

If in the event we do not get 5 sessions booked for the month of April, those that do book will receive $10 off their next session.

So there you have it.  I would LOVE to be able to pull off my very first ever contest!!

Meet the Photographer

Hi,
Thank you for stopping by. I just thought it might be nice for everyone to get to know me a little better. I am a mom of 3, a runner & I LOVE capturing special moments for families of all sizes. My goal is to have a memorable & comfortable photo experience at a reasonable cost. I am as professional & fun as possible. I have always enjoyed taking pictures. Even as a young girl. We needed digital photography when I was a kid because I would snap pictures of everything. I am still this way today. I was self taught, I did not have but a couple of photography classes in college. I'm just a girl & her camera. I hope you will give me a chance to capture memories for you. I love to have fun. Especially with the kiddos. We can't expect a child to just sit & be proper. It's just not in their blood. They love to move, & play & dance. That's ok. We can capture that! Some of my favorite photos of my kids & them just being them. That's the moments we want to capture, not a child all prim & proper posed perfectly with a fake smile. The little girl twirling her dress with a huge smile, the little guy giving you his scariest face holding a football... That's what we want to capture. Will you let me capture those moments for you?

Fall is quickly approaching & the leaves will be changing soon. They won't last long so lets make some beautiful memories.

DeFore/Whitt Wedding 7/26/2014

Here is a sneak peak at some wonderful intimate moments before the wedding took place. This couple,  along with  their family & friends, were an absolute pleasure to work with. This couple has so much love & joy they share and I feel blessed to have been a part of their special day.

 The bride had a request to have a picture of them BEFORE the wedding on either side of a door, holding hands. sort of a teaser before the big show, if you will. I loved it!!! These 3 photos were taken just moments before the show began.

The Groom was handed a little gift bag with a message that it was a gift from the bride. She enclosed a special note, just for him. He was so shocked & taken back by her love & generosity. It was so sweet.

 

 

And I couldn't leave out this little cutie! I LOVED the little guys running around in their cute little suspenders & bow ties! This guy was a flirt. He & his little brothers were adorable! I love the kiddos in weddings. Always so much fun.

Smash Cake!

Reality is hitting. My baby will be 1 on Tuesday! Where did the time go? He is growing up so fast!!! We had the grandparents over for a cupcake & ice cream party to celebrate his & his sisters birthday. (Their birthdays are 1 day apart) Grandparents were most all going to be out of town on their birthdays so they shared the evening.
